Shoe cleaning always depend on the material of the shoe itself.
Cleaning leather shoe, initially cleaning of the debris by wiping a solution of water and white vinegar over the stains. When the shoes are dry, rub the leather part with a soft cloth. Buff scuffs with a wet cloth dipped into baking soda. The key here is to be patient while dealing with your leather shoes and not using force. Wipe the shoess again at the end with a little buffing. Wait until dry.
Cleaning suede shoe, is an exteremly difficult task. you will want to use a nailbrush or a scrub brush to gently buff the stain away with this one. Once the surface dirts are off, add pressure and go back and forth with the brush to work at the deep stains. If the stains are still presistent scrub hard using a white erase. Another solution is to rub white vineger using a white washcloth or rubbing alcohol to clean the spot.
Cleaning running shoe, getting loose dirt off with a clean toothbrush. Dip the toothbrush into a teaspoon of laundry detergent mixed with a cup of water. Use this method on the fabric, rubber area, and mesh area, but don’t use it on the foam or leather part. Wipe the suds off with wet sponge. cleaning the laces with a dab of laundry detergent, you might as well clean them with your other laundry as well. Don’t forget to clean off the areas around them before restringing your shoes.
Cleaning White sneakers, is aggravating, but using a nail polish remover or vinegar with a cotton ball, to wipe stains away from the white areas of the sneakers does the job. If you need to resort to bleach, don’t forget to make sure to dilute it first you don’t want to end up with an ugly discolored shoes. We have found that one part bleach to five parts water is enough for white shoes. Finally, rinse the sneakers with warm water.
Cleaning rubber flip-flops/sandals, if your sandals smells funny after a beach trip, start by submerging them into warm water, sprinkling baking soda onto the sandals and then let them sit for 5 minutes before using a toothbrush to scrub off the stained areas. Sandals can be easily washed using washing machines, use a little detergent and a cup of vinegar as they rung thorugh cold setting.
